Hello

Long time since my last post, life gets busy. I am visiting my friend Sally in Florida, saw my mom over the weekend. Really nice weather here and good to see Sally again, it has been since last fall that they left to go to their winter home near Orlando. Sally is recovering from back surgery so we are taking it slowly, having lunch and visiting. Nice relaxing time.

Jessica moves to her new condo

The gang is all here! We met at Biscuits, a great Mexican breakfast restaurant in Broad Ripple to get fortified before Jess' move to her newly purchased condo in Indy. The move went fairly smooth with only two injuries. We hope Dan's calf starts feeling better soon.

We had a really nice day today getting together for
lunch with all the local girls in the extended Oleson
family. Allison, Jessica, Kelly, Kate (Joe's girlfriend)
Molly, Barb, Allison, me and Pam met on the
canal in downtown Indy at Creations Cafe for lunch.
Then we went over to Mass. Ave. to do some
shopping before Kelly, Kate and Allison left for home.
Barb, Pam and Allison came to the house to see
the new kitchen and visit a little more.
Looking forward to having more days like this
when we move to Indy full-time this summer.

Back in Indy

Drove back today, roads were clear and there was less and less snow as I got into Indiana. Still snow covered but John has been keeping up with the driveway so it was nice and clear for me when I got to the house.

Belle and Chip were happy to see "grandma" and get some treats. I will miss them when the kids move.

We got 10 more inches

When the snow started yesterday my car was clean of snow :-)

Snow, snow and more snow

It has been snowing since about 10 AM and they just said officially the airport has 7 inches with continued heavy snow through 2 AM. So happy I have no reason to go out anytime soon. May have to postpone leaving on Wednesday as it is supposed to keep snowing tomorrow into Wed. with an additional 1-2 inches. It is really pretty BUT I am not driving in it.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope everyone is having a fun, relaxing, exciting - whatever type of day you were looking for.  We celebrated with the family yesterday and went to Barcelona, Tom's favorite restaurant in Columbus.  Jess (Ben stayed in IN with the dogs), John and Nissa joined us.  Today is a quiet day, catching up on the Olympics we recorded from yesterday.

Hello everyone, life is good in the Berry family.  Jess, Ben and John have already moved to Indianapolis and are working, or in John's case, going to school at Lincoln College of Technology.  They are all staying in our "retirement" home until we move there later this year.  But, Jess is in the process of buying her first home - a great condo on the northeast side of Indy - and will most likely be moving within a month.  The house will be pretty empty without Jess, Ben and their two dogs, Belle and Chip.  I will have to visit and stay there more often once they are gone so John won't be lonely.  Got to get out and do some errands will post again soon.
